Tommy Hilfiger x Richard Quinn
For an internal experiment at the Tommy Hilfiger headquarters showroom, we created an augmented reality experience to feature four distinctive looks from the Tommy Hilfiger x Richard Quinn collection. This project was developed in collaboration with Sem Verbraak and Robert Mooijman, utilizing 8th Wall technology to enhance the showroom experience.
Users could initiate the experience by scanning a QR code displayed on the wall. Once activated, users could then scan floor trackers to bring the avatars to life, thanks to the sophisticated integration of target tracking and world tracking capabilities. This setup allowed visitors to interactively explore and view the avatars dressed in the unique outfits from the Tommy Hilfiger x Richard Quinn collection, enhancing their engagement in a dynamic and immersive manner.
Additionally, we extended this concept to create an Instagram experience for Tommy Hilfiger's storefronts in five global locations. This part of the project involved opening a virtual portal at the storefront, from which an avatar would float out, displaying one of the signature looks from the collection.
The 8th Wall experience was also successfully implemented in the Paris flagship store of Tommy Hilfiger, demonstrating its versatility and appeal in enhancing customer engagement and bringing digital innovation into physical retail spaces.
