Mode Museum Antwerp at Future Front Row | FTI

The prestigeous Mode Museum Antwerp created digital fashion and animation for Future Front Row at the Flanders Technology & Innovation Festival on March 23 and 24 in the Lotto Arena and the Sportpaleis in Antwerp.

Together with d_archive, the museum is developing a 3D representation of a 115-year-old riding costume from the MoMu collection.

Masjien is curating a fashion show that is as traditional as it is revolutionary with Future Front Row. The agency for fashion, sustainability and technology offers MoMu, among others, the opportunity to show a digital silhouette. By projecting models and looks on a hologram, it wants to put the digital shift in the spotlight.

MoMu sees this innovation as an opportunity to make collection items kept in the archive accessible in an innovative way, and thus experience fashion differently. For this project, the museum joins forces with d_archive, the digital design studio it previously collaborated with, to show a static object in motion.
